Mena Alexandra (born on the 13th of February 1979) is a model and actress from the United States. When she was in 1990, shortly following her debut as a model, Suvari began to appear in tv shows like Boy Meets World. Her first film appearance was on 1997's dramatic Nowhere. Her performances in American Beauty - for which the actress was nominated get a BAFTA Award - and American Pie and American Pie, which earned more attention from the public, she transitioned into bigger roles. In the following years, she appeared as the lead on the screen in Sugar & Spice (2000) alongside American Pie star Jason Biggs. Spun, a 2002 independent drama film and Trauma (2004) thriller were both featured in her career. She appeared in HBO's dramatic show Six Feet Under. In 2004 she received an award for the Outstanding Cast Member at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2008, she was cast in a string of films including Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh as well as the film adaptation to The Garden of Eden. Suvari has been a modeling model for Lancome cosmetics and print ads for Lancome Paris Adaptive and has been featured on numerous fashion magazines as well as blogs including Vogue. She has supported and been an advocate of the African Medical and Research Foundation for many years. In addition, she's involved in charitable organizations which fight breast cancer and End Violence Against Women. Missy has been the model for a number of prominent brands, such as Mercedes-Benz Sprint Canada as well as the Olympics. Missy is a star in films like Stick It Backcountry, Something Red, and Wide Awake. Being who she is the gifted actress has done well on all of them. Missy is a very generous person. She is often involved in charity initiatives. She's a part of an organization that is non-political and dedicated to supplying affordable and secure footwear for the communities of South America.
